The Boutique Safari, based in Nairobi, is a reservations office representing a collection of premier destinations across Kenya and East Africa. Founded by Karl von Heland, the company ensures guests experience exceptional quality throughout their safari journey, drawing on Karl’s 40 years of expertise in East Africa.

Karl co-founded Entumoto Safari Camp in the Maasai Mara with his close colleague and local Maasai, Rimoine Ole Kararei. After years of perfecting Entumoto as a top safari destination, he launched The Boutique Safari to extend the same high standards across a carefully curated selection of lodges and camps.

Karl’s deep connection to Kenya traces back to his grandfather, a young Swedish officer who became the manager of M’bogani Farm in 1919. This iconic farm, owned by author Karen Blixen, later inspired the novel Out of Africa and its famous film adaptation.

Superior

Premium
